My husband's idea - I signed us up for a day's culinary experience with Chef Marika not knowing what to expect as we've never tried something like this before. She met us at the Rialto Market (easy to get to on the Grand Canal vaparetto)...More

Marika was very helpful and friendly, tailoring the experience to our tastes and preferences. My partner and I had an amazing time making two types of pasta, gnocchi, risotto and a pannacotta. The recipes were delicious and we will definitely be using them at home.

We had so much fun. Highly recommended. Beautiful villa and learned great tips from Marika. Pasta extravaganza tasted great after a "hard" morning of labor.

It started with shopping for the ingredients at the fish and vegetable market. I learned a lot about picking fresh fish and vegetables which I wasn't expecting. We went to Cantina Do Mori, a very old cicchetti bar for snacks and wine and then coffee...More

Would this be a good fit for my 14 year old daughter and her grandmother when they visit Venice in April? They both love to cook.

I will be in Venice from the 20th November to the 9th December. From Monday to Friday I will be attending Italian Language school. I will be available for the classes on a Saturday and Sunday. I am most interested in pasta making classes.
