This building has a great location in Piazza San Marco. This is one of the locations that is included in the Venezia Unica Tourist Pass, so we quickly stopped.

It’s a library so unless you are really into books you can skip this. However, you might as well check it out as we had purchased a package and this was included. It is located in St Mark’s Square so it’s not difficult to find....More

One of the great ancient libraries of Italy, containing many early books, illuminated manuscipts and ancient texts in a stunning space overlooking St. Mark's Square.

The library and Museum were beautiful. The first Monday of each month is free as well, so that is a nice tip for tourists

The library is included in the Doge's Palace ticket along with two other museums and is adjacent to one of them. There's not much to see, you just go with the flow.More

Part of the visit to the Correr Museum. It came at the end of our tour of the museum but there is possibly another more direct entrance. The opening hours are more restricted than for the Correr so do check in advance and, as when...More

Only went in because it was included in our museum ticket but wonderful surprise once you're inside. We went in December so absolutely no crowds and we had time to look around. Not sure how classed as a library as not many books at all,...More

Beautiful building just not quite what I was expecting for a library. Not many books. just one small room. worth a look if you are already inside the building but no need to visit especially.

San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one
of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza
San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica,
clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops,
orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand

campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower,
plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
