The chapel is circular (octagonal?) with amazing stations all the way around the outside. Off the beaten path but well worth the visit, especially since the Peggy Guggenheim museum is only a few blocks away. St. Mark's square is just across the lagoon

This church is stunning and beautiful on the outside and the interior is just as lovely. There are so many discoveries while you walk through the amazing building.

I loved this area, not as crowded and super great view. I really enjoyed out time spent inside and mostly outside the Basicilia steps.

This is probably one of the best examples of Baroque architecture of the remaining 88 functioning churches in Venice. There are 139 church buildings in Venice but only 88 of them are still in use. This is one of them and is a real hidden...More

Santa Maria della Salute is undoubtedly one of the most important churches in town. Designed by architect Baldassare Peruzzi, it stands as a real Baroque landmark at Venice.

This is one of many free churches in and around Venice. It's not a typical church structure as it is round, but it is very much worth the time to see.

Lovely church, bit of a walk to get to. They close at 12pm for lunch so make sure you get there on time as I was only able to be in there for 5 mins.

You can see this church from across the Grand Canal and it looks very interesting-it was lovely inside and worth visiting while you are in Venice.

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,
restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and
heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's
collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for
evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries
cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica
buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob
