We were told that visiting Harry's bar was a must and to try the famous 'Bellini' we could not have been more disappointed. The bar despite its art deco interior - lacked atmosphere, it had less atmosphere than a ferry crossing waiting room. The waiters...More

We popped in for a quick pre-lunch drink a little worried about the reception we'd get with our 10, 7 and 3 year old daughter's. In years gone by my wife and I have been regular bar flies, but always on our own or with...More

This is the good news. A regular place, wonderful osso buco and delicious liver “Venetian style”. Great service and professional advice on wines from the area. A wonderful evening. It is a privilege to have a dinner table in the bar on the ground floor....More

We arrived before the midday rush and sucked in the atmosphere. The crisp white jackets of the waiters reflecting in the polished mahogany of the tables like the ghosts of Hemmingway and Bogart as we ordered our Daiquiri and Negroni's. Please be under no illusion,...More

The place has no character or atmosphere AT ALL. 13€ for an an alcoholic Bellini and 22€ for an alcoholic one served in TINY WATER GLASSES WITHOUT EVEN DECORATION. Really incredible such a place manages to survive when there are plenty of great places in...More

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,

collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for
evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries
cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica
