Iconic bar unfortunately disappoints. Over priced to probably keep the hordes out is cramped and over priced. History was worth a try but you'll be better off finding a place that had true Venetian ambiance. Lacking character and service is wanting. Unfortunate.

Great fun atmosphere at the bar where my friend and I sipped Bellini's all night long! Iconic and somewhat time-warped. A classic!

Went in with another couple and laughed at how bad they were. Won't go back...not even close to be worth the money they charge.

Called today because my stepbrother had generously given my wife 25 euros for her birthday He had forewarned us it wouldn’t cover two drinks here. Harry’s Bar is so called because an American called Harry who drank here fell on hard times and after being...More

I can't imagine anyone ever going back there a second time. I knew the price going in and I still felt ripped off when the bill of 44 Euros came for two bellinis and about a dozen olives. I hate olives but I ate them...More

13 of us recently went to Harry's on our first day in Venice. It was supposed to be someplace special. We ate upstairs in a basic room with minimal view of the harbor. We all got their famous Bellini which was basically an expensive glass...More

If ever a place was a tourist trap. People have to get a Bellini here, where they started. Really, the place is small, and dull. The Bellini on the menu was 21 Euros. After a few minutes without service, and realizing the event of drinking...More

This is a legendary place that no longer lives up to its reputation. Went here for my birthday for dinner and was sorely disappointed. I second the sentiment in my husband's review that Cipriani should be ashamed.

My wife wanted to experience the "tradition" of this place so we went. HUGE disappointment. We ordered two Bellini's (which seemed to annoy our waiter since we didn't order food) and it cost 24 Euro for two 6 ounce drinks that you can find anywhere...More

A warning to all those wanting to fine dine upstairs. It was my wife's birthday and I had booked 3 weeks in advance for a resonably located table. They matre'd sat us in walkway close to the servery. We asked for another table but were...More

I was turned away and I was wearing nice short pants (it was a warm August day), a nice polo shirt and docksider shoes. It was our only unpleasant experience while visiting Italy. But no argument from us. We turned around... More

It is outrageously priced and, unless you are happy to pay €21 for a Bellini it really is not worth going into. Venice has lots more decent bars and restaurants than it did 15 years ago so simply take your custom elsewhere... More
