We noticed the long lines in the mornings so we went late in the afternoon on June 19, 2005. A lot of tour groups from cruise ships hit the sights in the mornings so the lines get pretty long. We walked right up and purchased...More

The campanile is a must do in Venice if you like to look down on a place from up high, as there are hardly any other opportunities with viewing decks. This also happens to be the tallest building in Venice... the views from the top...More

Best few euro's you will spend on a visit. Avoid cruise ship clashes with them visiting.. earlier or later in the day is best..

For €8 it was reasonably good value. Lift to top in seconds. Wasn't very busy so no large queues. Cloudy day but still good views of the city. Easy to say having experienced the view but for all the time you would actually spend at...More

Birdeyes view of Venice. It’s a must see of course to appreciate the small but vast landscape of the city. Lucky there was a lift which made the effort so modernised. No 300+ stairs phew!

We were on a short break in Venice and having come to the square which was affected by high tide decided to visit the Campanile. There were no queues when we were there about midday and paid our €8 admission for the lift. We were...More

Not too much of a queue we were there around 11:00 and it had to be done. Views from the viewing platform were brilliant. Really give you a feel for the size of Venice . No way google maps can give you the same experience.

We visited here early when it opened - I think the best time as queues seen so much longer in the afternoon. We queued for about 10 minutes and paid €8 each. An elevator took us to the top. A fantastic view and great pics...More

The line was only short so decided to experience the views over Venice from this amazing vantage point. For €8 you take the elevator to the 60M bell tower where you can see all of Venice. Views are amazing, well worth doing this tour.

One of the world's 'must-see' views, well worth the €8 entry fee. When there was a queue it wasn't that long, at the moment we went in there was none at all, even though it was mid-afternoon. Stunning panorama to look out on, plenty to...More

Great views if you’re blessed by the weather. A little expensive given that you are not going to stay up there very long. Just be aware that you will need to protect your ears and especially the kids if your visit coincides with the top...More
