I thought this bridge was just a bridge, but as I started to cross it I saw that there were shops all along the bridge. There were a lot of steps going up, so needless to say, there were many steps going down on the other side. Our Hotel was in Rialto, and there was a lot of walking to... More

The Rialto Bridge is spectacular as are the views from it. We couldn't believe the number of small trinket shops on the bridge itself. However very crowded and dogged by rose sellers in the evening who are very forceful. Despite giving a rose seller back the rose he forced in my hand he then proceeded to put three in my... More

The views, the market, the shopping, the opportunities for photos are fantastic from this bridge that was the only point across the canal for the public for many years.

Very pretty bridge but of course heaving with tourists. There are shops on the bridge as well as both streets off of it. Great photo opportunity.

Beautiful bridge that spans the Grand Canal. I would recommend going early to take pictures because it gets quite busy in the afternoon.

Certain places deserve the word 'iconic' - and this is one of them. Amazingly beautiful, no visit to Venice is complete without being here. The secret is to go under it and then get off the water bus and see it from the bank. Do not miss this.
