Overview
More
A masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the building and its sculptural decoration date from various periods. The interior, with works by artists such as Titian, Veronese, Tintoretto, A.Vittoria and Tiepolo, includes vast council chambers, superbly decorated residential apartments, and austere prison cells. Along the facades of the Palace run loggias that overlook St. Mark’s Square and the lagoon. The combined entrance ticket to the St. Mark’s Square Museums grants access to the Doge’s Palace, Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico Nazionale and Monumental Rooms of Biblioteca Marciana.

I didn't know much about this place before I visited (shout out to TripAdvisor for recommending it!). But it was definitely one of my favourite parts of my stay in Venice. Piazza San Marco is a tourist attraction in itself, so this is an easy...More

The Doge’s Palace is a beautiful building to visit, but miss the lines and see the secret rooms hidden behind the palace walls by booking a Secret Itineries tour online beforehand. These are the secret prison, bureaucratic and torture rooms you don’t see unless you...More

We arrived early and had the place virtually to ourselves. Quite a lot of walking and quite uneven surfaces in prison but well worth the visit.

Very interesting tour of areas you would not see unless booked on this tour. Paola, our English guide was superb. Would recommend the tour, but there are quite a few steep staircases to negotiate, this is also a good way to avoid the long queues,...More

So much to see, some breath taking rooms, we really enjoyed our visit, allow plenty of time to walk around and take in the scenery! We walked around in awe!

An essential cultural landmark for anyone visiting Venice. You'll learn all you need to know about the history of this fantastic city. Plenty to see, lots of steps, and some tight squeezes if the crowds are around you in the prison. Fabulous state rooms.

Went to Venice and wanted to revisit the does palace. I was most dismayed that I was unable to purchase a ticket, just for the palace. They now charge you 20euros for a ticket that gets you into four places. The best part of that...More

I'm not sure if you would be able to visit the entire palace but just to go in the square within in palace is quite beautiful and would be worth visiting.
