The area has fantastic views and the hiking is quite easy. There are several trails in the area. We visited Val Ferret in June and it was still a lot of snow, it was however quite easy to hike and run anyway.

We drive up the valley as far as we could until we were stopped by the snow. The scenery on a sunny day was quite superlative with amazing views of the Helbronner and Mont Blanc chain. You feel very close to the mountains.

A wonderful and exhilarating walk which last about 2 hours. The scenery is breath taking and if you want a break from skiing for the day, this is a must
