Very pretty town, lots of colors and lots of people. For me it’s always a go-back to as I live near-by in Bolzano.

We loved our stay in Merano for everything it offered from old world Italian charm with a variety of shops and restaurants to snow in the adjoining mountains, walkways, palms, parks and more......

Wonderful historical area, tiny lanes to explore wonderful shops bars, not a place to miss. Some restaurants / bars have outside seating thus you can mix with the local friendly people.

I absolutely adore merano. Have been here several times. With a young child. Shops are good and plenty of them. Some very good places to eat. Lovely cobbled streets. Friendly people. We went for a walk by the river. So beautiful.

Very nice old town with a touch of Habsburg flair. Passerpromenade and Tappeinerweg are 2 nice walking paths in and above Meran.
