We walked in this street and under the galeries. We founded very nice and very chic shops . The street is quite long and very pleasant.

This medieval street is protected from rain and snow by portici. Most of the stores are very modern and we did not do any shopping but enjoyed the architecture of the city of Bolzano.

This is a beautiful pedestrian street — but this is Italy so still expect a rogue car or two. It’s basically a shopping district. There are covered walkways on either side of the street to protect from rain or excess sun, or you can go down the middle and take it all in. Great for window shopping and enjoying the architecture.

Very narrow, but elegant street with a large number of shops. Not only with the typical tourist staff, but also a lot of shops with clothes, shoes, cosmetics, etc. It is dark and crowded.

The stores are mostly closed on Sunday so make sure you choose another day to shop in this adorable town.

Via dei Portici (Laubengasse) is a 300 meters long street in Bolzano pedestrian area in the city center, with medieval porticoed buildings. Most buidings now host high-street shops.

The main street in the old city, arcades on both sides... pleasant by any weather! Mostly small shops. Very nice indeed.

Bolzano’s traffic is very Italian, very hectic. Park near the train station, 1.50 euro per hour. 5 minutes walk into the centre. The road is pedestrianised, very busy. Had something to eat and drink on piazza Walter, most restaurants are not open all day and open after 6.
