Nice walk in this great place. We spent almost 2 hours here, also we discovered the fountain and tge medieval castle. We took a walk near the river. You can also visit it by bike.

I was given a map and the park was shown to me as a way to walk through on my way to the Piazza and is a sight to see. So I went to the park and started walking through it to my destination.. I was approached 2 times by gay men looking for a hook up saw and smelt some smelly bums, and a few tranvestite hookers looking for some customers.
Not my ideal stroll through the park but it was entertaining.

I read trip advisor reviews and went to visit this park in July 2010 - what a disappointment. It was dirty and unkempt to say the least. We got there on a Thursday at 3 pm and everything was closed. The Botanical Garden was only open for tours on Fri, Sat and Sun. The "castle" is not open to public as only for architecture studies. Finally, almost every cafe was closed and/or deserted. Public washrooms were sprayed with graffitti and a mess. This park should be bulldozed and paved over into a parking lot.
Quite frankly, the most depressing park I have ever been in. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

beautiful walks and meeting place for the people of Turin when they are tired of the city. We ate something small (Polenta e salciccia :-)) at one of the kiosks and had a really nice afternoon.

Very big park with lots of activities inside. You have a special place where you can just relax on the grass, some terraces that serve ice cream and drinks, view to Po river, and an extra Castle inside. A day of fun and games! Pay it a visit!

This park is very large and lies along side the river Po. The picture shows the palace which is now the department of architecture for one of the universities. It could not be visited while we were there , but does have some open days. There is also the botanical gardens (part of university) which opened for visits on the day we left. The mock medieval village, Borgo Medieval, was a nice surprise but the castle only gave tours in Italian (6 euros). There were refreshments, but take coins for the autoloos. The views along the river were very good.

This park is very big, be prepared to spend at least a few hours to truly get a feel for it. It is by the river, the Medieval Village is outstanding, the Castle is gorgeous. You can go canoeing, or have sit and a beer by the river. The garden is like nothing I have ever seen. Great way to relax.

This park provides a small oasis of peace and tranquility in this bustling city. It has a small stream running through it, is nicely laid out with flower beds and contains various kinds of trees. The stream has tiny wooden bridges which the kids found fun to run across and the gardens also have many shady spots where one can unwind. Towards the bottom of the garden (on the riverbanks of the Po) is a fake, but very pretty medieval village built during the 1800's for some exhibition (entrance to this is free). The castle within this village can also be visited for a small fee however it was closed on the day we were there.

This really is a lovely park, close to the river.
It's kind of informal but very well kept.
It has a nice aspect.
