the site is located on a hill with a great view on the Alpes and on the city of Turino. but this is the only good point of this visit. the access is very hard and takes a long time : 1st, you have to take a bus (the 15) until Sassi station, then you take the train. Be carefull,... More

The basilica inside is not so shocking or beautiful as I would have expected, given the breath-takingness of italian churches. However, the view from up there is worth the visit, since u get to see all Turin, the alps and the rivee 👌

Take bus 61 and hope the driver is friendly and ask to be dropped of at Sassi. Now walk about 100m to the Sassi train Station. If you go on a Sunday they will only open the gates at 9.45am for the first ride at 10am.Make sure you buy a return ticket. The coaches are old fashioned and are used to... More

You come here for the view and to pay homage to the Italian team that died. It's a lovely view of the city, but was unfortunately a bit hazy on the day we went. It was lovely to visit with family!

We took the rack tramway to Superga because I'm from Melbourne and have a thing for trams. But the views on this clear day were spectacular and the basilica a fine example of the House of Savoy making the clear statement. Turin is revealed with the mountains all around and this view trumps the architecture - just. The walk up... More

I just went up to this church and the weather was cloudy - not super cloudy, but not a clear sky. We got up there after a not so cheap tram (9 euros per person - andata e ritorno), only to find that there was not possible to see much. I am sure the view is amazing, but I would... More

Superga was built in the 18th century as the pantheon of the Savoy dynasty. The basilica is impressive but the views over the city to the mountains are breathtaking especially on a clear day

Climb up to the balcony on the dome. Theviews are spectacular. The church itself has a quite gray interior. Worth stopping over on the way out of Turin.
