Basilica di Superga

Basilica di Superga is at the top of the hill and it looks great both in the day and night time. Worth checking out when in Superga.

A friend recommended me coming to this gorgeous temple. Just the steep slopes are any bike lover dream come true. The views of the city with the sun setting are stunningly delightful and the basilica inner walls offer a shocking and beautiful secret: they are covered with handwritten messages, names and dates. They look dirty, and your first impression might... More

The Basilica is a really nice monument, really big and beautiful. You can get a panoramic view of Turin from there that is amazing. It's free and quiet most of the time, there is even a spot to have a picnic or just chill in the grass !

An easy tram/funicular ride from Turin and well worth it for the great views over the city and surrounding countryside. The ticket office to visit the royal family tombs is very inefficient (we ended up skipping them as a result) but still worth going.

We drove to the Basilica first, before going into Turin. Beautiful, sunny day, with clear skies. Great views of the city and mountains. But, upon entering the Church, you can only stand in the back, near the doorway! I have never experienced that before! No chance to have a quiet time for prayer, or light A candle.

Place to visit in Torino. We took a small train to get up and down. Quite expensive 9€/person. But if the weather is nice, it is sure that you must visit this place and see the city with the mountains around and all of its beauties.

It is located out of the town but the it is a good road. The building is impressive but the view is the best. Take some time to enjoy seeing Turim from above.

Didn't go in but enjoyed the surrounding and environment. Together with the tram ride it's a worthy experience.

We went up via the tramway but alas the Basilica is closed for a few hours. Opening at 3 pm did not suit us as the tram was departing at 3:30 and missing that one was not on! From the outside the Basilica is highly photogenic as are the views back to Turin. As it turned out we may have... More
