A solemn visit in June 2015 to see the Shroud of Turin which is rarely on display for public viewing. The sacred shroud gave us the chills and reminder of Jesus's sacrifice for us.

Lovely Cathedral and of course famous as the home of the Shroud of Turin. Theres a video you can watch and see pictures of the shroud and hear about it. Not a big Cathedral compared to others in other cities. Theres a small shop to buy gifts/souvenirs.

We knew we wouldn't be lucky enough to see the Shroud of Turin, but we thought we would see a copy. Instead, we saw many video projectors playing a short film in different languages explaining all about the Shroud. A caretaker even asked us where we were from, and then played the video in English. We visited twice. The first... More

This small cathedral is located behind the main Piazza in Turin - go through the archway at the left hand end of the Piazza as you face the palace. It is tucked away behind the main buildings. It is free to enter. Ask the guides to put on the video in English if you don't speak Italian - it explains... More

Average cathedral. The shroud of Turin is on display (no need to line up or buy tickets) so it is the main draw to this church.

This is a unique experience, a must in Turin. It gives a feeling of something special, heavenly and peace. The cathedral itself has many other artistic features that are worth seeing.

For the importance and significance of what is inside, it is not busy at all, there is a quiet space in front of the Shroud for people to pray and the church itself is beautiful! It is open for the public to attend mass and free of entry to see the shroud itself. A must see for any christian visiting... More

One of the most famous cathedral in the world. If you in Turin, you have to go there. It's located just behind the Royal Palace.

The cathedral is probably most famous for keeping the Holy Shroud. The inside of the duomo has many beautiful intricate details. There are many areas in the cathedral with information to read and increase your appreciation of the cathedral and it's features. However, even if the holy shroud is kept inside and not on show, the replica shows all the... More

We visited the cathedral to see the Shroud of Turin, actually, it is only a copy as the real shroud is locked up. Nevertheless, it was a nice church and seeing the replica was a worthwhile experience.
