Of course we had to stop in the park to see these buildings while visiting the Piazza Gae Aulenti area. It is easily reachable by Milan Metro, just take the Garibaldi train station and walk across the street.

Since we cannot access the buildings, we could only admire them and take photographs. Worth the time investment indeed.

I read so much about this building and the concept behind it that i could not see it.
It is amazing and the idea it's great. Just a couple of comments
1. winter is not the best season. The trees and the plants on the terraces were "naked" and the effect that can be seen in many pictures is of course reduced
2. It is smaller than expected. Not in height, but in width and a little bit squeezed between other buildings.
Overall it's a masterpiece and it deserves absolutely a visit in MilAN

It is a neighborhood that deviates from the European standard. It is a modern neighborhood, with buildings and styles that are very different from what you see in Italy. I really enjoyed the contact with modernity. The building is beautiful and impresses with its greenery and the naturalness with which it forms part of the landscape. There are also other very modern, different buildings in the surrounding area that are worth seeing and taking photos of.

From far, we could see this apartment building. Those large, staggered and overhanging balconies are designed to accommodate large external tubs for vegetation and to allow the growth of trees without hindrance. So this apartment building serves as home to humans and birds. If we were to look at it in spring, the sight would be even more magnificent.

On my previous visit to Milan, I somehow didn’t get here, but this time on the way from Bergamo to Turin I specifically decided to make a stop for a walk in this modern quarter. And I didn’t regret it - it’s very cool. Milan is not such a vibrant city, but its modern architecture has greatly decorated it. It looks absolutely amazing in the fall. I even looked at the pomegranate trees with fruits on the balconies. And the birds are still singing, even at the end of November. When the trees grow in the park surrounding the houses, it will become absolutely wonderful how such green (or yellow-red in autumn) islands are needed in modern megacities. I don’t know whether the residents of these houses were walking in the park, playing sports on the playgrounds, walking their dogs, but these were the faces of clearly happy people.

One of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen! People who live there are extremely lucky. Easy to spot as soon as you exit the Gioia station and it’s worth some time. There are even benches in the park, for those who want to enjoy the view as much as possible.

Bosco Verticale is a pair of residential towers in the Porta Nuova district of Milan that as its name implies is a mix of a residential tower, plants and trees. The building just looks incredible.

The buildings are not in the main tourist circuit of Milan and I went out of the way to see it. I’m glad I did and you will too to see this marvel of architecture and nature.

The revolutionary find of the creators of Bosco Verticale is the idea of an organic combination of high-rise buildings and green landscapes. Looks very interesting. The vertical forest changes its appearance depending on the season.
