I enjoyed my time in this park quite a lot since it was a sunny, warm day of October. The place is ideal for a quick picnic, reading or taking photos of Villa Reale or the ducks as the wide lawn look very pretty. I've also noticed that events are held here like festivals, concerts or kids activities.

This is a relatively small park but a delight, especially on a hot summer day. There are plenty of benches in the shade beside a little lake and stream. Young children play a pick up game of soccer on the open lawn. But it is much less busy than the Public Gardens nearby.

Having studied in Switzerland, near the Italian Border, gave me many opportunities to visit Milan. This park was often a favorite respite from my studies and as well as the occasional shopping spree of cosmopolitan Mila. There are lovely cafes that you can take out a panini and have eat at the park.

Nice park, but nothing special compared to other parks I've seen elsewhere. The maintenance of this place is just sufficient. It's worth a visit, but don't expect nothing you'll be amazed by. Take a walk there if you are in San babila/Corso Venezia area.

This place was just wonderful to walk around. It has some work being done so it limits were you are going and looks run down, but overall - look past this and it is a lovely garden to enjoy and even participate in events

Lovely park in centre of Milam with pond, ducks and terrapins. Had a lovely lunch in the cafe which was much cheaper than main street.Take an empty bottle as you can fill up at the outside water dispenser near the entrance, next to the museum.

The garden is really tranquil, gorgeous and virtually empty. The reason is it is restricted to children under 12 "and their tutors" which reveals the antiquated origins of this restriction. We read the sign at the gate but dismissed it as a bad English translation that was trying to say "children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult". The... More

My favourite part of Milan as after Rome, Piza, Florence I had city fatigue and needed to spend some time not looking at buildings! A lovely welcome break particularly on a sunny day.

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
