A nice city gate - no more and no less. Nothing very special but the entry to the famous Navigli District.

This is gate to Navigli and Corso di Porta Ticinese, all key areas downtown Milan. The Arch itseld is nothing special however.
Great monument to the early port to Milan. I never new Milan was served by waterways in early days! Very close to the "port of Milan.
The gate itself isn't all that interesting, but a stroll down Corso di Porta Ticinese is a nice way to spend an hour or two. It's a funky little street with boutiques of locally made clothes, artisanal panettone, vintage jewelry, etc. Some very interesting shops.
