This twin tower buildings should represent modern take on a symbolism of gateway to the city. Although quite nice architecture, there could be much more into the theme.

One hundred meters high twin skyscrapers near the Porta Garibaldi station are the symbol of modern Milan. They were built at the end of the 20th century and completely refurbished and modernized in 2012. An amazing site, especially in the evening!

This is modern Milan in action! Huge skyscrapers, interesting from a modern architectural point of view. We did not go inside, just looked from the street. I think the Italian railways own them, and have offices inside.

The site us still under construction. But the finished part of it,which is huge is a great place to see. It contains new buildings with modren atractive architucture. You must see if you go to Milano.
