This is really several museums into one. I found the building itself the most amazing and would have liked to have more information on that. Still the different exhibitions are quite interesting. There are several sections with applied arts - furniture, porcelaine and such. Quite...More

Huge collection of art, decorative arts, ceramics, armor etc etc. Keep an eye out for interesting temporary exhibits - there was a great print exhibit when we went - took us a while to locate it -we were pretty arted out at that point.

Really nice collection of artwork with some beautiful pieces. It's more of a focus on the religious art with Madonna and Child represented a lot. See this as part of the castle but you need to spend over half the day looking around the museums/galleries...More

I enjoy art galleries. This gallery is not huge but has some really nice paintings, I especially enjoyed paintings by Canaletto. Look out for the unusual trompe l'oeil by Filippo abbiati, painted in the 17th century but looks quite modern.

There were an awful lot of Madonna and child paintings and a lot of religious renaissance work. There were a few noted painters. I don't consider this a must see but it was nice to go to while seeing the Castello.

The Art contained in the Pinacoteca Castello Sforzesco is quite impressive. There are some really great works which come mainly from Milanese art collections. The Gallery was established in the late 19th century. Entry to the castle, Castello Sforzesco, should allow you to also view...More

Check my other review on the castle itself I thought the museum and the castle were tagged as the same place here. But very quick description, it's a very interesting museum full of different things from different cultures, and the paintings they have are just...More
