This church stands in a lovely square and looks a lot more modern than most churches in Milan. Inside it is very pretty without being spectacular like many others but has a lovely alter, four beautiful alcoves full of paintings and sculptures,.

There are so many, many amazing churches to see in Milan (and all over Italy) that you can almost get overwhelmed. Yet this is yet another of the breath taking free churches almost better than any art gallery. A must see for sure.

Lovely little church, very near the Duomo. Adjacent to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, so it's quite easy to find.

The Jesuit church was built in the 16th century, mostly by architect Pellegrino Tibaldi. It is a modest and harmonious building designed in typical Catholic Counter-Reformation style. Simple and elegant building located at the nice and equally elegant square.

Chiesa di San Fedele is one of the smaller churches, and compared to the Duomo it would be just a little chapel! Nevertheless it's a lovely building, both outside as well as in the interior, and it's worth having a look in if you are...More
