Small square, which was very busy because we were visiting Mantua on market day. It’s largely unremarkable, but is has a number of historic buildings from the Renaissance period like many of the city’s other squares.

Piazza Andrea Mantegna, very small, is a wonderful crossing point in the center of Mantua. The majestic church of Sant'Andrea overlooks it, as well as some shops. It can be found along the pedestrian path that connects Palazzo Te to Piazza Sordello.
