Just returned from 8 days in Baveno. Beautiful place. Sailed out and visited all the lovely Islands on Lake Maggiore. Well worth a visit. Lots of lovely restaurants. Stayed in Hotel Azalea and had a view overlooking the lake. Very friendly staff. Rooms spotlessly clean.

All the parking places along the lakeside are free of charge and just 5 min. Walking from the church. There is also Marinai d'Italia square just behind the imbarcadero (boat station) which is free of charge during winter... More
