- MrsKAALondon, United Kingdom24 contributionsBest outing for all ages with the care of the kind considerate chef and host Amy! A must do when in Como!Best outing in Como! Everyone loved it the host Amy was incredibly kind , caring and considerate. The actual experience was amazing we made delicious gnocchi , Ravioli and tagliatelle followed by the highlight of the day the pana cota we did this all under the great care of Amy. The flat was stunning and so was the kitchen. Amy made everyone feel welcome by asking via email everyone’s names before we went then greeted us knowing our names ages and where we lived! This was an amazing must do in Como which is fun for anyone any age! Thank you Amy we can’t wait to come again!Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 October 2023
- Jane SMilton Keynes, United Kingdom117 contributionsBrilliant fun and a great experienceSuch a friendly and relaxing way to learn more about Italian cooking in a beautiful setting. My husband, daughter and I joined a group of friends in Amy’s cucina where she entertained us and we helped prepare a delicious lunch of ravioli and gnocchi along with panna cotta. We had such a great time and would highly recommend.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 October 2023
- LoveTravel2992407 contributionsWonderful Experience; Amazing Chef! This was absolutely a highlight of our Italy trip. We had so much fun with Amy and we learned so much! We laughed the whole time! It was so cool to be able to learn how to cook like an Italian in such an stunning setting (the views from Amy's balcony are incredible!). Any the food? *Chef's kiss* We learned a ton in a short time. I would highly recommend this to anyone going to Como.Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 6 March 2024
- Mark M3 contributionsA Really Lovely Lunchif you have some time in Como and you like beautiful houses, interesting experiences and good food you will find a warm welcome at Amy's Cucina in the Eastern quarter of the old city. Amy runs regular classes in her lovely Italian villa where, over the course of four hours she entertained, guided and supervised our experience of preparing, cooking and eating some local classics. The emphasis was on local ingredients, enjoyment, hands- on involvement and personal interaction resulting in a really wonderful experience. A stylish, generous and heart-warming glimpse of a Lombardy home and kitchen.Visited May 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 1 May 2024

- Tourist261855572121 contributionCooking lesson at Amy's cucina. We had a fab experience at Amy's cucina We enjoyed the cooking lesson very much. The food was excellent and it was a lovely evening. Our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in a charming home, the workshop brought together participants from the USA and England, fostering a delightful cultural exchange. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the setting couldn't have been more picturesque. As we cooked, Amy guided us through the preparation of authentic Italian dishes, sharing tips and stories that enriched the experience. The hands-on approach ensured we all felt involved and capable, regardless of our prior cooking experience. The camaraderie that developed over the course of the day was a highlight. Engaging conversations flowed as freely as the delicious wine, creating an atmosphere of genuine connection and shared enjoyment. It was not just a cooking class; it was a celebration of food, culture, and new friendships. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to immerse themselves in authentic Italian cuisine while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Lake Como. It's an experience you won't forget🥂 Thanks, AmyVisited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 6 July 2024
- kelleys001Fayetteville, Arkansas25 contributionsBest cooking class ever! Can not say enough good things about this cooking class. My husband and I plus our kids in their 20s are still talking about how delicious and fun this was. Amy was a joy to work with and welcomed us into her beautiful home. Definitely recommend this if you're in the Como area! We made the trip over from Varenna and it was 100% worth the trip!Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 23 July 2024
- emma22London47 contributionsBest family cooking experienceAmy is wonderful so friendly and invites you to her house. I was nervous taking 2 teenage boys for a cooking lesson to someone place but it was amazing. The boys had such a wonderful time and it was great to do something together that we all enjoyed. We made pasta and a dessert which I thought the boys wouldn’t like but the loved the food. Amy makes you feel so welcome and explains everything clearly. We are looking forward to trying to replicate the dishes at home together. If you want to have fun as a couple or a family this is the best way to spend a morning and lunch. We made some wonderful memories and Amy will be talked about in our family for years to come.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 2 August 2024
- Ashley T2 contributionsGreat Experience - Definitely RecommendWe did a cooking class with Amy in August 2024 and highly recommend! She was an enthusiastic conversationalist/host and focused on the look and feel while cooking rather than item by item following a recipe. Everyone in the class got to participate in each step of the cooking as well. We had a small class size and a great experience. I will definitely be making the panna cotta and gnocchi again!Visited August 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 18 August 2024
- Martina O57 contributionsFantastic culinary experienceOutstanding experience. Amy is amazing. What a wonderful hostess. I went with my two adult children. What a wonderful day. Today it was raining and what a better way to spend the day other than learning about cooking authentic Italian cuisine. We also met wonderful American friends there. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Amy’s apartment is also beautiful. Would highly recommend. It was like having a dinner party with friends.Visited September 2024Travelled with familyWritten 5 September 2024

Absolutely loved this experience with Amy. There were 6 of us (3 couples) and from the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were family. Amy gets to know each of her guests, and shares her story and passion in cooking. Her kitchen and house had ample space for cooking, eating, and socializing. As a want-to-be chef, I love to learn new recipes and explore new things, Amy's class provided this and the best part is I didn't have to clean up the mess we made or the dishes!!! The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. We were staying close to San Giovanni train station and it was an easy, leisurely 15 minute walk to get to Amy's place. If you are in Como, this is an excellent alternative to eating out. Amy and Guido were the perfect hosts.

We arrived a day early for our group tour and wanted to do a cooking class. I can not say enough good things about Amy. She invites you into her beautiful home and you do hands on cooking in her kitchen. Nothing like making pasta while drinking Prosecco.
We made potato gnocchi with pesto, ravioli filled with ricotta and asparagus, and panna cotta with berry topping. After cooking we all sat at her dining room table and chatted while enjoying the food, wine and limoncello. It is a lovely way to spend a few hours in Como.

Our group met at Amy's lovely home. We were greeted with a smile and a glass of wine❤️
The cooking experience was intimate and very fun. We laughed and talked about our lives while we created three wonderful dishes. I'm so happy we chose to cook with Amy! We would do it again in an instant!

Six of my family had the most extraordinary time with Amy early this July while traveling Europe. Amy welcomed us into her beautiful classic Italian home that was breathtaking and then we spent 4 hours learning to cook ravioli, gnocchi, panna cotta and tortellini. She was so personable, sweet and patient with all of us who had a combined knowledge of authentic Italian cooking of ZERO. Our cooking challenged husbands were totally invested and the non stop wine and Prosecco added to the evening.
Can not rate this highly enough and will forever be one of our top memories.

Amy is fantastic, so welcoming it was a perfect way to spend the day. We all had such fun! Amy is super friendly and accommodating. Her knowledge was fantastic- we learnt so much! The food was another level of delicious and it was great to share a couple of bottles of prosecco throughout the day. I'd highly recommend doing it for something a little different and truly authentic!

This class was fantastic. The apartment was beautiful and Amy is a great hostess. I felt like I had been invited to a dinner party and helped out with the cooking! Amy instantly makes you comfortable while sharing great culinary and regional knowledge. She’s funny, chatty and relaxed which helps the session seem very informal. Amy then served us the food we helped to create and joined us at the table in between to chat.
This is not something I would usually have thought about doing during a holiday but would return in an instant with friends to learn more. We were all googling pasta machines and ricers walking down the front steps as we were so keen to go home and try ourselves.
Great experience all round!

I have tried emailing and submitted the form via your website multiple times, but have not hear back. My husband and I would like to take a class October 24 or 25, 2019, if available. How do we confirm class schedules and get signed up?
