Best outing in Como! Everyone loved it the host Amy was incredibly kind , caring and considerate. The actual experience was amazing we made delicious gnocchi , Ravioli and tagliatelle followed by the highlight of the day the pana cota we did this all under the great care of Amy. The flat was stunning and so was the kitchen. Amy made everyone feel welcome by asking via email everyone’s names before we went then greeted us knowing our names ages and where we lived! This was an amazing must do in Como which is fun for anyone any age! Thank you Amy we can’t wait to come again!

Such a friendly and relaxing way to learn more about Italian cooking in a beautiful setting. My husband, daughter and I joined a group of friends in Amy’s cucina where she entertained us and we helped prepare a delicious lunch of ravioli and gnocchi along with panna cotta. We had such a great time and would highly recommend.

This was absolutely a highlight of our Italy trip. We had so much fun with Amy and we learned so much! We laughed the whole time! It was so cool to be able to learn how to cook like an Italian in such an stunning setting (the views from Amy's balcony are incredible!). if you have some time in Como and you like beautiful houses, interesting experiences and good food you will find a warm welcome at Amy's Cucina in the Eastern quarter of the old city. Amy runs regular classes in her lovely Italian villa where, over the course of four hours she entertained, guided and supervised our experience of preparing, cooking and eating some local classics. The emphasis was on local ingredients, enjoyment, hands- on involvement and personal interaction resulting in a really wonderful experience. A stylish, generous and heart-warming glimpse of a Lombardy home and kitchen.

This is the best vacation adventure we’ve had in a long time! Amy is so engaging and her instruction is relaxed and so simple. She makes it absolutely not intimidating and so much fun!! You feel like you’re enjoying making lunch with an old friend. What a lovely and delicious afternoon!

Can not say enough good things about this cooking class. My husband and I plus our kids in their 20s are still talking about how delicious and fun this was. Amy was a joy to work with and welcomed us into her beautiful home. Definitely recommend this if you're in the Como area! We made the trip over from Varenna and it was 100% worth the trip!

Amy is wonderful so friendly and invites you to her house. I was nervous taking 2 teenage boys for a cooking lesson to someone place but it was amazing. The boys had such a wonderful time and it was great to do something together that we all enjoyed. We made pasta and a dessert which I thought the boys wouldn’t like but the loved the food. Amy makes you feel so welcome and explains everything clearly. We are looking forward to trying to replicate the dishes at home together. If you want to have fun as a couple or a family this is the best way to spend a morning and lunch. We made some wonderful memories and Amy will be talked about in our family for years to come.

We did a cooking class with Amy in August 2024 and highly recommend! She was an enthusiastic conversationalist/host and focused on the look and feel while cooking rather than item by item following a recipe. Everyone in the class got to participate in each step of the cooking as well. We had a small class size and a great experience. I will definitely be making the panna cotta and gnocchi again!

Outstanding experience. Amy is amazing. What a wonderful hostess. I went with my two adult children. What a wonderful day. Today it was raining and what a better way to spend the day other than learning about cooking authentic Italian cuisine. We also met wonderful American friends there. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Amy’s apartment is also beautiful. Would highly recommend. It was like having a dinner party with friends.
