This old church is worth stopping in and just sitting to enjoy its ancient surrounds. It is an unusual shape which makes it more interesting than a standard church. The atmosphere is very peaceful. A great place for some time-out.

My wife and me always when we are visiting old towns go to old churches to see beatiful building and decorations, but especially have silent moments. San Fedele is a beatiful church in the old town.

Stumbled on this church while walking around Como. A beautiful space. Several altars , a lovely painted dome, an interesting ceramic depiction of hell or purgatrory and an ossuary! The church still hold services.

Walking on the streets of Como, we have discovered this fantastic Basilica. We were lucky because it was open and we could substantially study also the details. There is a rare imagery of Purgatory - amazing!

Lake Como is absolutely stunning. This Basilica is so fitting for this area. Beautiful architecture, this Basilica is in the city center and there is a market which takes place right near by. It is well worth a visit. This Basilica is stunningly beautiful. It is well worth a visit if you appreciate architecture.

We almost missed this church and were very glad we didn't. Inside are some mediaeval frescoes, a beautiful altar and a 17th century picture of the Blessed Virgin in gilded wood. Beautiful.

Beautiful church in the shadow of the piazza San Fedele. A nice, quiet part of Como. Worth a visit for the frescos, rose window & cupola. They're just magnificent.

When we got in we thought it was the Duomo, because is big and beautifully decorated! It's a small piazza, from the outside doesn't look much, but is worth getting in!

Although in the city centre, this church is less busy than the duomo and worth a visit. It is tucked away in a corner of one of Como's city squares but is worth making an effort to visit.
