We were in awe as we walked through the Cathedral of Como. We are not Catholic so a lot of the relics were unknown to us. They have informative plaques in English to aid in walking through the Cathedral. No fee just a donation request.

We took a tour of the Como Cathedral and it was very lovely. Once again you might not expect it from looking at the outside but do not let that stop you. Beautiful art and carvings etc.

This does not look much from the outside but well worth visiting. A welcome rest from the sun, and don't forget to leave a much needed donation. Nice little gift shop on the way out.

In the centrepoint of town of Como, this building is a massive reminder of the great time in past. By the time we were around it was closed, but still it was very impressive.

Beautiful architecture on the outside, and elegant on the inside. Pay the modest 1 euro fee and take your time wandering throughout this lovely cathedral. Many paintings, tapestries, sculptures, and incredible ceiling to enjoy.

The tourist entrance is used when the Duomo is in Service so non-participating guests will not interrupt the religious program.
