Such an Architectural delight in a wonderful setting. Wonderful interior and such history. Built between 1396 to 1740. Well worth a visit if you are in Como.

Beautiful externally, stunning within. Easy to get in, free though small donations of €1 are recommended on a sign. Amazing inside, the organ was being played and the space filled with sound. Very ornate and richly finished.

This was part of a tour visit. Churches are always intriguing no matter the shape or size. It's beautifully adorn as they all are. There's a charge of 1 Euro for entry/donation. They weren't terribly elaborate with women being covered but I did anyways.

I think it must be an age thing, but we just love visiting churches. This is a wonderful church situated in a large square, the inside is so calm and inspirational......a nice place to close your eyes and count your blessings. The Duomo is close...More

We Stopped at the duomo while walking through the city, didn't get the chance to go in but the cathedral itself is just beautiful, the outside work is impressive.

Beautiful to look at with details that make you wonder how long it took to construct. Located in the centre of Como, it's hard to miss and worth a look.

Iconic landmark in the centre of Como with stunning architecture and sculptures outside. Inside is similarly impressive and ornate. Went on Sunday to the mass which is beautifully spiritual.

We paid a donation on entering and were given a pamphlet explaining its history. You probably get similar information in a guide book, which we didn't have, so it was most helpful. Also appreciated was the detailed printed information in many languages of the Cathedrals...More

It was very beautiful even by just looking from the outside. Still couldn't compare to the Cathedral of Milan but it is truly a wonderful masterpiece!

The tourist entrance is used when the Duomo is in Service so non-participating guests will not interrupt the religious program.
