Bellagio is now tourist dominated but approaching on the ferry the bell tower of San Giacomo looms over the town. Built in Romanesque style in the 11th/12th Centuries, its grey, stark and plain style is a contrast to the more frequently seen Mediaeval, Gothic or...More

This excellent example of Romanesque-Lombard architecture is located on a small piazza halfway up the hill from the Harbor. It’s construction goes back to the 10th century and the beginning of the 12th. It was modified over time but it was restored in 1904 and...More

A very quaint Basilica just a short walk from the waterfront. Well worth a visit while in Bellagio. We enjoyed the architecture and history of the building.

Lovely church in Bellagio’s little square, very peaceful inside. The bells chime all day at the hour and half hour and play Ave Maria once a day, just gorgeous to hear them all day.

Very beautiful church. So good, too, to escape from the crowds in the narrow streets and to find a peaceful place here.

Not certain, we were there mid day. As with most Catholic Churches, they post a sign listing the hours they are open along with Mass times.

The only photo I have of the altar is the one which I have already put on TripAdvisor. Not sure if that's any good. I do not have one from the back of the church, sorry.
