You book this guided tour at the Promo Bellagio shop in the medieval tower in San Giacomo Square (not the tourist office on the lake), which is where the tour starts and the tour guide is very good. Be warned that this the tour involves...More

My partner and I got a boat over to Bellagio and walked up to the medieval tower to buy our tickets for the walk. Our guide had superb English and was so knowledgeable about the villa, gardens and the lake area. We walked up and...More

Fantantasic gardens dating back to the designs which inspired them by good old Englishman Capbaility Brown, although if I remember rightly, it was a Scotsman who nurtured thousands of species.

I was able to walk around the gardens at the Serbelloni Hotel and although they were quite pretty, thought they were nothing spectacular. The day before I had done the gardens at Villa Melzi so maybe I was comparing then to it. Worth a look...More

This is not a garden tour, nor a tour of a villa. This is a tour to see beautiful views that you will not see from any other point on the island (because I asked the guide whether it was possible). I thoroughly recommend this...More

The views from the gardens are spectacular. The tour guide gave lots of information about the property. It was a strenuous walk uphill, but the views at the top were definitely worth it.
