A short stroll across the hill from Bellagio brings you to this little village. But don't expect anything particularly interesting. It might have been a fishing village once but there's no signs of that now - and there's not much else either, including no cafes for a coffee at the end of your walk. A photo opportunity of some boats at anchor is the most you can expect. Frankly there are literally a thousand coastal villages of more interest in Italy. If you're staying in Bellagio for a few days you might want to stretch your legs, but if you're a day tripper you'd be better to spend all of your time in Bellagio.

A lovely little village on the lake we stopped here to have a lovely bite to eat after a really long walk which is well worth doing to soak in the views

I understand this used to be a fishing village and I am not actually sure if the higher area with a few small hotels and restaurants are considered part of it. We walked from Bellagio on a Saturday morning and found the picturesque view of sailboats. It was a perfect temp and we sat on a bench and watched two swans and a flotilla of ducks go by. It is not far from the main part of Bellagio and the internet will tell you the main way is "mostly flat". This means no stairs but some hills. We are active oldsters and made it just fine. There are several ways to go and one is from the high shopping street and has a lot of cobbled steps. We stayed in Bellagio 3 days/2 nights so this walk easily fit our schedule but would be a lower choice if you have shorter time.

This little village is worth walking down to at sunset. There are no shops, and mostly hotels and villas - along with one restaurant called La Pergola. Make sure to find the water view with sailboats. Quiet and quaint.

We spent a lovely afternoon on the beach here, swimming in the lake, sunbathing and taking a picnic. It’s a stark contrast to the nearby centro with its hustle and bustle of tourists.

We enjoyed this small quiet part of Bellagio, Pescallo. Nice to get away ftom the hustle and bustle of Bellagio. We walked down the long cobbled path off the main road of Bellagio . Its a lovely quiet area. Nice to sit, chill and watch the boats. There is a drinking vending machine. You can also reach Pescallo by road and a shorter pathway

While there is not a lot to do in this tiny village , it did make me jealous of those staying on the lakeside, and I wished we’d come late afternoon to enjoy an ice cream here.

We always walk to Pescallo when we are in Bellagio, and although it is very small it is so nice to sit and relax watching the boats on the lake. The walk down the narrow stepped pathway from the main road is not easy for anybody with mobility issues.but there is a longer way down by road, which is downhill, but not so steep.
