Historic fountain is in the main old town square. Fountain is not extraordinary, atleast by my opinion. There is a lot more to see nearby.

The fountain looks very well preserved and it’s located right in the heart of the old town. Surrounded by beautiful buildings and churches.

Having a fresh water fountain right in the Plaza certainly adds colour and character to the place & enhances the ambience no end. Heard somewhere the water in Bergamo & Lombardy is the cleanest most potable around. So go ahead & do your thing!

We visited the the old town and stooped by the Fontana Contarini to listen to a great group of musician sing classical music. It was a great afternoon with kids running around and many people enjoying the beautiful atmosphere of the square.

Lovely fountain in the centre of Bergamo old town square. What is great is it has fresh water pouring out of it, that is so refreshing to dip into on hot summer days.

Really interesting fountain in the center of the square, with many ornaments and statues with floating water.

This piazza is so peaceful, so quietly beautiful. I hope you can see it without too many tourists to fully appreciate it.
