The square is surrounded by a number of impressive buildings and is the focal point of the historic part of the town.

All around building from importance, in the middle a beautiful fountain, and the atmosphere is something very special. It was told that in sommer it is almost impossible to make any photo, so many people are around.

This is a nice open space for the locals to hang about. It was very busy with students sitting about playing with their phones.

Really pretty piazza, the torrential rain and wind couldn't dampen its charm. Lots of cafes and bars. And jaw dropping basilica.

We were at the piazza, and were just impressed by atmosphere of it. You feel like being in a different epoch, in medieval age. There is the fountain ⛲ the clock tower, the library. Center of the città alta. It is definitely worth a visit....More

At the medieval Cita Alta surrounded by amazing historical buildings is located this square. Take your time to relax, drink your coffee or aperitivo before visiting the rest of the marvelous old city of Bergamo.

A beautiful place to visit and to soak up the sunshine. Quite buzzy. I would not recommend the cafes or restaurants unless you wanna serious meal or look very fashionable!!! Style over substance.

This square is stunning as the whole city. But it concentrates itself the whole beauty you can face while wandering there.
