If you are in Bergamo or travelling through, take the time to see this beautifully preserved Crypt. Oh and ask about Colleoni's Crest :)

In the old square in Bergamo Alta there are a couple of churches to see including this. Prepare the camera because they are very impressive. Beautifully architecturally both inside and out. Free entrance (it is a church: access with decent clothes, silence and respect).

At the top of Piazza Vecchia, this small cappella has an attractively detailed exterior and ornate, dark interior. It's worth a quick visit.

A beautiful chapel located beside the Basilica, but no pictures allowed. The ornate interior is worth the short amount of time needed to see it.l

Definitely make a stop here when in Bergamo, and learn the history of the Colleoni family and this beautiful chapel with tombs of the family.
