This Italian Lake is incredibly beautiful, both to enjoy from the shores & the many boat ways of doing so. Even the walkway they have around most of the lake I such a pleasant way to take in the lake from the shores. The nearby...More

Want CHEAP, FAST & DIRECT bus transport to Lake Maggiore? Use ALIBUS! Lv Malpensa airport every 2 hours, directly to Lake Maggiore avoids a stop/transfer in Milano. Fast, 1-1.5 hr long. It’s cheaper and more direct than a train or limo! Even locals use it.

Absolutely beautiful. And huge. No way to see it or cover it. We spent one day in Stresa and had a great time then moved on to the other lakes.

Beautiful Lane a surrounding villages. Defiantly worth taking the ferry around the lake to the different villages, affordable and enjoyable. Lots to see and nice to hope on and off to explore. The ferry ran fairly frequently but it is best to check departure times...More

I would check it out on line but I imagine it would be similar to the rest of Europe, fairly chilly. Sorry, no idea about any activities you could try the tourist information for the area. It’s a beautiful part of the... More
