This is a very interesting and fascinating museum which gives one a snapshot into past of Rapelo especially the lace making which now only three people are left who are able to do this slow and intricate work of art. So beautiful and delicate. Yes...More

Go only if you have time to kill. Nice setting on bluff, beautiful park. Dissapointing use of wonderful architectural space.

most of the museum was closed when i visited. only two rooms were open to the public, but the lacework that they had on display was beautiful and also very interesting. the museum is placed in a very nice park which is worth the effort...More

This houses the lace museum, which has examples of lace clothing from the beginning of the 20th century and before. It is set in lovely gardens which look over the sea. There is also a park nearby, and so it is a very pleasant place...More

Fascinating collection of lace and some costume. Opening hours a little limited. Set in the beautiful park. The building is also supposed to house the interantational library, but I couldn't find the way in to that.
