We took the boat from Santa Margarita to San Fruttuoso and then back from Portofino to Santa Margarita. The weather was cool, but the waters calm. We saw dolphins as we reached Portofino so the captain took a detour so we could watch them play. Excellent trip with great views and magnificent photo ops along the way.

I was so excited when I booked this boat ride and was not disappointed. Andrea was very knowledgeable about the coastline from Rapallo to Genoa, and his commentary was interesting and humorous. My adult children said this was one of the highlights of their visit to Italy! We were picked up in Rapallo, rode the coast almost to Genoa, and... More

No tours November to April. Wife and I made arrangements for a tour via trip advisor. Andrea communicated quickly and well. We met at the harbor across from Stella restaurant. Stella also made the antipasti for our trip. The boat was very nice and well maintained. Andrea was full of history and anecdotes. His commentary was relevant and topical. His... More

Tremendous first day in Portofino with Andrea! We spent 3 hours on his lovely boat discovering the coast and learning about Portofino and the surrounding areas. Andrea is a wonderful host and tremendous source of history and knowledge. Tremendous communication in booking. If you are fortunate to coordinate a tour with him you will have a wonderful experience. Thank you... More

We were on a Med cruise and Genoa was a transfer day for many but not for us. Little to do in Genoa so we walked to the train station (1/2 mile) and directly in front of cruise terminal across busy road. Then purchased train tickets to Santa Margarita, then got the hourly taxi boat to Portofino. Train and Taxi... More

While our half day trip with Andreas from Portofino Taxi Boat was on 10/3 it began with us trading a few emails about booking our trip a week beforehand. From the beginning Andreas was a joy to work with. We took a 3 hour tour with him and visited Camogli and San Fruttuoso. Andreas was very familiar with the area... More

Hourly boat service to Portofino. We traveled from Santa Margarita. Portofino was very crowded even in low season but well worth the visit.

Wonderful boat trip seeing the coast, and all the lovely scenery along the way. Portofino itself relies on shops and its harbour but it worth worth th boat journey.

Wonderful day out on this small private boat. Picked up from Santa Margherita but could have got us from Rapallo or Portofino. Went round the local villages and snorkelled at the under water statue of Jesus. A marvellous day out and the only way to see the beautiful coastline of the area. Is a small boat (probably 6-8 max) and... More
