A walk around the city took us to this place. Nice piazza but nothing special. The monument is a nice piece of architecture and worth seeing. Some restaurants around so you can come here to sit and enjoy a coffee

When walking down through Via del Prione you'll find this lovely place, with the fountain-monument designed by the architects Antonio Leone and Cesarina Zanetti. This was executed by the sculptor Viliano Tarabella di Pietrasanta, was made of Carrara marble and finished in 1958. It includes...More

Convenient to the train, gelato, and coffee. Sometimes location can be the best attribute of a place. Typical Italian square. Other than location, which is terrific, there is no other reason to seek out the piazza.

The Piazza is nothing special but the start of an extensive market with good selection and some real bargains, all day on Fridays only.

Opening in the Via Prione with a neat modern fountain. Downside is the fountain seems to be a focal point for street folks so not recommend late night - but a genial spot for a rest and to people watch.
