The church is super decorated, and very interesting. It would be a good idea to carry a hand mirror to avoid neck ache from craning to see upward.

Consecrated in 1189 and damaged several time during the ages. It was restored in 1892 and again 1946. It has kept its original appearance. The paintings inside are really beautiful and there are several notable ones included. It is in the Old Part of Genoa...More

This Romanesque church is one of the finest in Genoa: the atmosphere is wonderful and mysterious. We liked it so much we went back for a second visit. There is a fabulous Flemish triptych altarpiece in a side chapel which is unmissable.

Just go and discover yourself. A tiny small church at the hearth of the genoese movida, offers a jump in art, fresh and pray. Worth a trip .

The church itself deserves a visit. You cannot miss the Trittico by Joos van Cleve and the Madonna del Latte by Barnaba da Modena
