We visited on a rainy afternoon while in town. The Museo is easy to get to, right across from the metro station. The admission fee of 5 euro was also very reasonable. Once inside the space is clean and modern, and the pieces are well...More

Find on a map and visit. Lots of sculptures and old tile and pottery. The curator followed me all through the museum. There is one room where photos aren't allowed.

Having much enjoyed our first visit to this fine museum last year, we were looking forward to our return. Unfortunately on this occasion so many of the works were missing, including their masterpiece by Pisano, the tomb of Margaret of Brabant, that our visit was...More

Located just a few steps from the Torre this gem of a museum in an old monastery was recommended by our guide. It houses a medieval collection that intertwines Art and history in a way that seems appropriate to Genoa

We purchased the 48 hour museum pass and so attempted to see as much as we could in our short stay in Genoa. Our visit to this museum was left a bit late, so we did not have as much time to devote to it...More

Not only does this museum have some extraordinary exhibits, the quality of the display is wonderful. The designer should be congratulated for the way the modern architecture with its steel and use of colour enhances the pieces on display. A great way to spend an...More
