Cinque Terre's 5 Villages are very beautiful. Drive to these places are awesome. Some one recommended to go when we planning the trip to Italy. From Venice we went to Florence by train. From there we took a car to Pisa and Cinque Terre. 5...More

The coastal trail between these two towns is impassable because of landslides. Italy should stop advertising that trail. Trail 531 is the next higher route between these two towns; it is an ancient trail that has been severely damaged by hordes of hikers. It is...More

These trails are very confusing and unfortunately you have to work it out for yourself. There seems to be a small section of this open, near the road tunnel and bridge between Riomaggiore and Manarola. Photo attached

Pall took the time to understand our expectations and made sure we fully understood the history and local families that have worked so hard to make this place their home. There was no extra charge for the nature hike, as we sampled over a handful...More

Trail’s not open at the moment! Train or bus is the only option between towns. Riomaggiore is pleasant, not especially interesting.

As the word was that the trial is closed I opted for the train. The village of Manarola is stunning! It was on my bucket list of must see destinations, and it did not disappoint. Stunning scenery.

It depends which trail you take. If you take the blue trail (the touristy one) you will probably be fine. If you decide to hike up the mountain it might be better to wear hiking boots, even though I've seen people up there... More
