We were not expecting such a large cathedral in this town. The inside made quite and impact. It is well worth a visit.

The Chiesa di San Giacomo dates from the 14th century and partially occupies one side of the Piazza San Giacomo or as it is also known as the Piazza Matteotti. There are some good artworks within the church and a pleasing aspect was that there...More

The church dates from the 14c and the facade from the 16c. The church was cool and peaceful on a July morning. It is filled with gorgeous and inspirational art.

Easy to get around and you can't get lost - not the hustle and bustle of a big city. The locals are great and the shopping is fantastic

The Chiesa di San Giacomo is located right at Piazza Matteotti Giacomo and is part of the architecture surrounding the square. Compared to the very nice architecture of the church the interior is rather average

It is a beautiful church and Sunday mass was quite crowded at 10 a.m. The pews and kneelers are fairly uncomfortable , do we sat in chairs at the back. The service was very nice and we followed along the best we could.
