We were lucky that our guide knew about the free bus that takes visitors up and down at weekends.Lovely view of all of Udine from the top and a small cafe to have coffee in the sun.interesting to hear about the history of the Castle...More

You can reach this castel by some steps just from the Plaza della Liberta.There is a nice caffeteria on the top serving excellent capuccino. Nice views to surroundings,

Excellent place. You can see part of Udine from Top. There is also a coffee shop, where u can have a coffee. also that serves as a bar. Excellent .

Not a huge place, but a short and (kinda) steep walk and you would be at the top. Has good views of the mountains in the backgroun Probably worth a visit if you have time to kill

The castle itself is nothing impressive; it is small although nice, and not to be compared with the royal castles around Europe. There is no original furniture inside, but some intersting exhibitions can be found here. And the view of the alps from the garden...More

Udine is a fascinating town with some beautiful squares, churches, renaissance buildings etc . It is also off the tourist trail with only a few city centre hotels so has a real "Italian" feel unlike Venice, Florence, Rome etc. However it is hard to find...More
