Worth a visit to see the art, rooms and furniture. A nice collection and variety of Italian art - portraits, landscapes, etc. Well worth the visit while exploring Triests.

This gallery was such a surprise. The paintings are so beautiful and the artists are mainly local. It is advertised as a museum of Modern Art but, on the whole, the art is very accessible. Enjoy.

The original Revoltella palazzo has been extended to make room for an impressive art collection, including some excellent 20th century works. The original library is also well worth a look.

We took the ancient elevator to the 6th floor and were instantly impressed with the city views, the variety and quality of the art-a funky mix of modern with old, paintings, sculptures and furniture. On perhaps the 3rd floor one enters the impressive home from...More

The entrance fee to the museo is 5 euros and worth the expense. In the old part, there is plenty to see both in terms of the architecture and the art/exhibits. We spent several hours roaming through and were almost the only ones there. The...More

The choices made to transform the collection of Count Revoltella in a museum of modern art with a touch of contemporary are decidedly bold. Bravo! I recommend starting from the top floor and down from floor to floor, enjoying a pop up of contemporary works.

Great museum - you get to visit the Barone fully restored mansion and the extensive painting collections in the new, wonderfully built wing, done by Carlo Scarpa.

I can t say I am the biggest lover of art in the world or even know much about artists apart knowing the obvious ones, but I quite liked this place. Its not too big and not too small. It has a nice mixture of...More

Went to Museo Revoltella on the last day of my weekend. Very interesting - combination of an art gallery and a period house. Definitely worth a visit
