The oldest tower, it is well maintained. Great views and photo ops. Go on to Tower 2 if you want objects to observe and admire. A few rooms are open that once housed prisoners. Because it is the first tower that you reach, it is...More

This is one of three stone watchtowers in San Marino, which can be seen from a long distance away, studding the mountaintop of the tiny country. The views from around the tower are great, and the tower itself is very photogenic. You need to buy...More

The Guaita tower is the trade mark of San Marino, from popular photos to post stamps to coffee mugs to t-shirts it's the most recognizable image of the country. And it's very picturesque indeed.

Is in top of everything in San Marino. Great and impressive building with amazing views of the city and the valleys. A liitle bit of a climbing but is worth it.

San marino is about 20 km far far from rimini or Riccione. The best if you park in the big parking place a day cost about 4.5€ so not a big deal. You can use the stairs if you feel young but there is also...More

Very interesting history and location. It's a must for those who love history and want to discover new places. And as an additional value of this place – great views from the tower, where you can see the Rimini city and the sea.

Its sheer height offers excellent views. It's quite an uphill walk, so take water. We got the combined ticket and it covers both Torre. A must visit.

I went there with my friend. At first I wasn't interested but I'm glad that he convinced me to go up there. On the main tower is a stunning view, worth climbing.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Your photos are beautiful! From what point did you take photos of the tower between the rock columns? Is it a hike to the top or can you drive? Thank you.

Hi, the Parking No. 6 is the closest to the towers. But from there you have to walk approx. 5 - 10 minutes uphill to enjoy the views. If you don't have a difficulty to walk, it is a "must" to do in San Marino!
Is Guaita open on Sundays?
