This church seemed only to have the mosaic floor under water with gold fish and the settlement of the tower. Worth a stop in but not something I would recommend unless already included and on your way to other attractions.

The mosaics under water at the back of the church are pretty special. You have to put in a little money to light up the area. No-one seemed to want to, but after my friend did there was such a crowd of people that the...More

It’s only a couple of blocks away from Dante’s Tomb so if you are in the area, it’s worth swinging by, but compared to the other sights in Ravenna, I didn’t find it as impressive. There was a little area under the altar that you...More

If you see this basilica from the outside it is big but with brickstone and built in a simple structure. But seeing the inside you will not be disappointed. All the colourful mosaics on walls ceilings and on the ground. It is really amazing. The...More

The Basillica is a nice visit. The cript is beautiful with its underwater part and the fishes. In order the get the lights you have to give 1 EUR but it's worth.

Incredible to see the flooded crypt with fish swimming in the water. One of many great churches in Ravenna.
