The outside is very plain, but inside the mosaics are bright and beautiful. Amazing pictures illustrating scenes from the bible adorn all walls. Well worth a visit, alongside the Basilica next to it.

Just behind San Vitale a must see. Simpy beautiful mosaics that date back to the 5th C. One of the highlights of Italy.

While the other sites are breathtaking, this room is smaller so a more intimate encounter with the mosaics. Truly a treat to come into this space.
