Very nice tribute to the composers and musicians of the past. Nothing in English so have to appreciate the visuals.

This is a museum devoted to opera, so expect to see many mementoes and ads for various operates that were performed at the Teatro Ducale that later became known as the Teatro Regio.

During the afternoon when an opera is scheduled that evening, the singers will open the second floor window which is shown here to the right and perform an individual piece with piano accompaniment. A very pleasant surprise and an excellent free performance.

It si very carefully renovated, with a lot remains of the former centuries. Here is the Opera Museum, whre you can have an insight to the past of Teatro Regio.

It is right in front of Casa del Sono and, like this one, there is free entry. You can find inside interesting things about Opera.

Mostly a historical museum, this is definitely a place for those with an interest in Parma's musical / theatrical history. All the exhibits are in Italian, but the receptionist was kind enough to provide us with a translation book. Not expensive at all, and worth it if you have the time and you love music :)

Went to a classical music concert in the Casa della Musica which in the end turned to be a good one after a little strange choices of music pieces at the beginning. Did not see the premises itself at all.
It was a little hard to find the house and the ticket counter as well as the music hall the concert took place, but it was worth the trouble.

Honestly disappointing visit, divided into two small rooms and perhaps more appreciated by professionals.
Sorry to write this but I found it boring.
