A beautiful little place to visit two rooms with decorated ceilings in very different styles and worth reading about the details to make sure you see the details in each one. Worth the trip. There is also an interesting puppet collection next door

These rooms are quite unlike any you've seen. The tourist office at the University recommended this to us, and we're so glad we took their advice.

As I paid 6 euros, I expected more. Not much to see, only 4 small rooms. Since I went to other sights like cathedral and national museum first, this place was letdown. This one you can skip. Receptionist is not nice, either.

Definitely worth the visit. Looks like you can get the ticket also with a visa card (still 1 ticket at the time). No pictures allowed inside (why seemed OK in the cathedral and in the baptistere). An other room full of nice frescos of a less known painter, different style, is also included in the visit. Only 15 minutes visit allowed (but they seemed more relaxed as there were less people on Friday afternoon).

The Camera de San Paolo is worth a visit because of the frescos by Correggio which are in the vault.

This single room has some of the most amazing frescoes among all the many great examples I saw on my visit to the Emilia Romagna region. They are deeply disruptive, portraying some distinctly unpleasant behaviour by a whole range of very naughty Putti! A must see if you come to Parma.

These are neatly frescoed rooms that were painted for a worldly abbess from the 16th Century by Correggio and others. It is smaller than the other frescoed places in town, and therefore easier to see and more accessible. This place is a little hard to find on the Via Melloni. It is not on the street, but down a long corridor that can be accessed from the via, fairly far from the street. Be mindful that it has quirky hours for opening, and is not open after 2 in the afternoon. Closed Mondays and most Sundays.

A masterpiece in the very center of a beautiful city like Parma. Painted by Correggio. Definitely worth a visit.
