    Best balsamic in Modena
This is a must ! Marcello was an outstanding host and very passionate about his product. This boutique shop has the best I’ve ever tasted. I won’t go back to any other. The tour was very informative and tasty too. Our group was small and intimate. Can’t wait to go back.

    Fascinating family owned business
We learned so much that we never knew about balsamic vinegar. This was one of our favorite things we did in the entire region. The tour is free and you get to see the attic of a small family owned balsamic vinegar place. This was such a special find. There is no pressure to by anything, but we loved it so much that we just had to buy a bottle to take home. It’s a wonderful excursion.

    Balsamic Vinegar tasting in Modena
2nd time visiting. Marcello does a fantastic job explaining the history of balsamic vinegar and offers tastings of all of their products. Very informative no pressure to buy. Had a fantastic time. They also offer to ship what you buy if you do not have room in your luggage. Highly recommend.

    Essential Modena Experience
Giovannia did the tour for us, even though she worried about her English, she gave an amazing tour that involved her personal family history and the intricacies of the Balsamic process. One of the other hightlights was interacting with the family dog Brando in the garden. This tour was the highlight of my trip, its unbelievable that its free.

    Amazing tasting!
Such a lovely experience! Felt like we were guests on a family home! We learned all about balsamic vinegar production and tasted amazing vinegars! Highly recommend! It’s located in a commercial area but once inside it’s very inviting!

    Kind, accomodating and delicious!
True authentic balsamic! What a lovely family, so kind and generous! We were a walk in on the day and they were so accommodating, making time to give us a tour and sample their incredible balsamic vinegar! If you’re stopping by Modena. This is a must do!

An intense education on Balsamic vinegar with tastings- Marcelo's passion for his vinegar is evident through out the tour- would definitely recommend to a friend.

Wonderful tour here while visiting Modena. Not farmoit of town and a very intimate tour. The vinegar is amazing! Very friendly man of the house. Highly recommend for authentic experience.

Surprisingly interesting and tasty guide through making and tasting real balsamico. Plus an excellent westie. Good dog.

As others have said, genuinely no pressure to buy and an easy walk from the city centre. Would recommend.

Spectacular and tasty from start to finish. Thank you to the family for accommodating tours (for free). To smell and see and taste the balsamic production was pure heaven. And so informative as well. I wish I had bought a bottle of oak aged to take home. If it’s good enough for the White House..
