We had a tagliere with incredible tasty salami, mortadella, cheese, cream of parmigiano (I loved that), fine bread and a good white wine for lunch. Everything was absoluteyl fresh and the waiter was very friendly and helpful. You can chose between different sizes - we took the "Royal" version, which is more than enough for two people.

We bought part of our lunch here which we had at the osteria del sole. Baked ham, ham and squacquerone cheese: high quality. Baked ham for example is of a unique softness. The delicatessen is located in the Bologna quadrilateral.

I recently visited Simoni, a charming charcuterie establishment located in a cozy street near the main square in Bologna, Italy. I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the excellent service and delicious food.

Upon arriving, I ordered an Aperol, which was reasonably priced at 6 euro. The real highlight, however, was the platter of local cheeses and selection of salamis, which came at a cost of 16 euro. The waiter was kind enough to explain what was on the plate, which I greatly appreciated.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Simoni. The combination of great service and delicious food make this establishment a must-visit for anyone in the area. I highly recommend trying their charcuterie platter, which was a real highlight of my visit. If you're looking for an authentic taste of Bologna, Simoni is definitely the place to go!

We had the Royal Charcuterie and Cheese. It had a delicious collection of meat and cheese (my favorites were the ham and the pink mortadella). We also had jam which was nice. Prices are a bit high. Nice employees.

I stopped here for a lunch of meat and cheese platter. The meal was delicious. The waiter explained the different meats and cheeses. Along with a very nice glass of wine and this was the perfect lunch. Be advised though that it gets very crowded in the evening hours as it’s a popular place with the locals.

We stopped by for some wonderful meat and cheese, washed down with some lovely wine and beer. We waited for a table outside which was well worth it. I picked our own selection of meats and we tried their different aged Parmesan. It situated on a bustling little street filled with similar cafe bars. Great people watching whilst sat eating and drinking. Perfecto 👌🏼

We got lucky and managed to snag a table inside during a busy Saturday afternoon here. We had a few hours before dinner so we decided to stop in and have a 'snack.' They were busy but the service was fast and friendly and everyone was super helpful in offering suggestions for what to try. We opted for the meat and cheese plate for two and a few glasses of lambrusco. Everything was perfect & hit the spot! Located on a busy side street, this place is definitely worth a visit while in Bologna.

We had great fun eating here. We were lucky to find a table outside. It’s small and very busy place. We have ordered the plate ham and cheese plate which was huge for 3 of us and a bottle of sparkling wine. We have enjoyed all of it. Service was friendly and efficient.
