This is one of the portico's of Bologna. The specific thing is that there are mostly international brand shops, very expensive.

This was one of the main reasons for visiting Bologna to see all the portico's and we were not let down. Shopping is not one my favourite things but I could not stop all the window shopping it was truly amazing and something very foreign for an Aussie.

Bologna has more than 40 kilometers of portico's, but this one is very interesting. Fashion and other high ranking brands have here their shops and if you like you can spend here lots of money. If your wallet is a bit too small for the prices, it's still nice to do some windowshopping in this luxurous surrounding.

Personally a feature of this beautiful old town is characterized by numerous porches and one of these... More
