This is a major shopping street created near the end of the 19th century which today links the Central Train Station with Piazza Maggiore in the historic city centre in Bologna. You will find porticos on both sides filled in with retail shops, restaurants, coffee shops and historic theatre, hotels, church as well as monument to Italian patriot, Giuseppe Garibaldi.

This place reminded me of a cross between Piccadilly Circus because of the street performers and Oxford Circus because of the shopping and restaurants off the alleys! Although this is more historical and picturesque

What a beautiful main street in Bologna. A pleasurable 20-minute walk on one of the main shopping streets from Bologna Central Station. The street will lead you to the Neptune Fountain and Piazza Maggiore. If you visit during the weekend, it is closed to traffic and you’ll find plenty of street artists around. One of my favourite streets!

Here you can find all the shopps, from shoes to ice cream, everything under the arcades which was great since it was raining a lot.

This is the main shopping street in Bologna and starts near the central railway station and ends at the Statue of Neptune. It's a nice street to walk down, do some shopping and visit the couple of churches which line its route.

Our guide took us through here while going to the market. Farther down the street is part of the Old Bologna University and Library. The shops are very trendy and very expensive.
