This is one of the noble standing towers in Bologna that dates back to the Middle Ages. It can be found at Corte de Galluzzi when exploring this area of the city centre. The tower was constructed in the middle of the 13th century and is 30 metres in height.
There is interesting history for the Galluzzi Tower along with sister towers Azzoguidi and Prendiparte Towers further north in the historic centre. Each having important defensive purposes during their day and time. Worth a read if this is something interesting and the tower is worth a brief look-see as well if passing by and interested in historic medieval structures like the towers of Bologna.

This is one of the medieval towers in Bologna that survived the nineteenth-century destruction of the majority of them. It is located in a very small square in the center of the city; Compared to the other surviving towers it is not very tall, but when it was built it must have looked like a skyscraper.

Terrible service, unprepared in preparing two cocktails, we asked for two spritzes but they were watered down.
A piece of advice, only make pizza, you're still good at that!!!!
